"The UBC Okanagan HKSU is composed of some of the brightest minds in the program, all with diverse backgrounds and future aspirations. This passionate group of scholars provides all Human Kinetics students with exciting resources for success, which was highlighted by their Career Day that occurred November 2014. They organized this event which was composed of professionals from various health-related fields that presented a talk about their past, what led them to their careers, and advice for current students when applying to graduate programs.  Personally, I was impressed by the diversity of the presenters (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Chiropractor, Athletic Therapist and Kinesiologist) who demonstrated the utility of having a Human Kinetics degree as a strong backbone to various careers.  The HKSU is an extremely useful resource that consistently updates the student body with new ideas for personal and professional development."
